Civitan Community Mural

I was selected to create a custom mural on the side of Civitan’s “Flerish Market” in the Coronado Neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. Civitan is an organization that serves the cognitively disabled community by giving them employment opportunities. I collaborated with the administration and their population to paint a mural that honors the diverse groups of people that live in Coronado. Inside each peacock feather is a symbol that represents characteristics of the neighborhood.
