I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on housing projects for the Home Depot Foundation. In 2022, I led 50 volunteers painting a mural that served as the backdrop for a community garden at the Phoenix Rescue Mission. In 2023, I led 74 volunteers on a project to paint 20 canvases, decorate 10 kids’ playhouses, and paint 1 indoor mural in the game room of a housing unit for veterans experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City, Utah. For each project, I was responsible for creating a list of necessary materials and managing the budget. I also created the design that volunteers helped me paint and added the finishing details to each project to make them professional-quality.
